OMAP Tools was among the first companies in Italy to specialize in the production of rotating modules and construction elements for the machine tools industry, and this has allowed us to collect a solid know-how, necessary to design customized products and study specific solutions together with our customers; these solutions are different one from the other, according to the needs of each particular industry and production cycle phases. Omap tools operates in the field of machine tools since 1970. Founded as a mechanical workshop dedicated to third-party manufacturing, in a short time it completely changed its corporate strategy with the production of collets and collet chuck holders according to DIN 69871 and DIN 2080.In the 80s and 90s, thanks to technological development and to meet customer needs, Omap tools increases its range with the production of HSK Din 69893 collet chuck holders in the various existing forms A-E-F. Also in those years, thanks to the experience acquired and to the design culture, Omap Tools was among the first companies in Italy to produce rotary modules for CNC lathes. From this moment the company, through various collaborations with the most important manufacturers of CNC machine tools, creates a wide range of motorized modules for the most important manufacturers such as GOODWAY, GILDEMEISTER, MORI SEIKI, MAZAK, HAAS and TAKISAWA.
QUALITY MANAGEMENT
The professionalism of Omap tools starts from the moment of product conception up to its execution phase. During product conception and design, Omap tools uses the most advanced design systems such as CAD3D, to then move on to the pre-executive phase with CAD/CAM engineering process. Once the technical processing phase is complete, a prototype is produced to analyse the real piece. Once the first prototype is completed, an order is created (identified by a sequential number) on which all the manufacturing phases necessary to obtain the final product are described in detail, starting from the purchase of the raw material up to the final testing. During the production cycle each item is marked with the order number and recorded by a computerized system. Quality Control This system makes enables to track the various processing stages at any time, and even after 10 years we will be able to know how and who manufactured our products. In order to fully guarantee the quality of our products, each product is tested and inspected through high quality control machines.
